@MNTwinsZealot I was there. For 8 innings. The game was lousy, we were baking in the sun and completely surrounded by the loudest, most obnoxious Phillies fans. My buddies had enough and I didn't argue. We went back to our hotel's bar and watched the rest. With deep regret. Never leave early.
@HereticArtwork@thebeatles Agreed. In 2020, Rolling Stone ranked it as the second-best Beatles song, so it's not underrated in that sense. I just think it's been largely (and unfairly) overshadowed by their later work, as many of the Beatles' earliest songs have been.
@Manigarm I think it just celebrates that moment in "Wizard of Oz" where the curtain reveal shows that Toto has been the Wizard all along, and he's really into Christianity.
@PhilMackey Ingram sacked Cousins three times last year, leading the league in sacks by an offensive lineman. This season he's already forced a QB fumble. If he's going to keep doing this, maybe the refs should start flagging opposing teams for having 12 men on defense.
@OnlyInBOS Thanks for explaining. When I happened upon this display last summer, my working theory was that the troll living under that bridge must be an amazing athlete.
@ThatEricAlper Uriah Heep, in 1978, opening for Rush in Bismarck, N.D. The volume would've been appropriate for a packed Giants Stadium, not the half-full Bismarck Civic Center.
@dougfettig1 Didn't evolve? They're the defending champions. Steph Curry averaged nearly 30 pts a game this year. I'm sure they didn't expect to be the #6 seed, but you don't usually tear down a team right after winning the title.
