State transition or business event is a great way to capture the reality of your business.

Traditional databases (e.g. relational) often gives you an impression that it’s the source of truth. But over time, you’ll often find that it’s only one single perspective of your data.

Never offer a single date unless you KNOW you can make it.

When challenged to make a date you’ve declined, never say you’ll “try” because that’s a lie.
