“If you simply sat down, like a telephone book, and just read his accomplishments, you would become numb to them because there are so many.

The things he did in College Football, today’s college football will never be topped.” @AaronSuttles on the Nick Saban Era

@yea_ala @AlabamaFTBL

[Stephanie Suttles @StephSuttles]

Well said.

[Aaron Suttles @AaronSuttles]

I covered every second of the Nick Saban era at Alabama. I documented a historical run. Legendary became normal. And it’s with zero hyperbole that I confidently proclaim he’s the best to ever do it.

[Stephanie Suttles @StephSuttles]

I will never forget this.

[Aaron Suttles @AaronSuttles]

Covering Nick Saban, I reported on nine national championship games (including six wins), nine SEC championships, four Heisman Trophy winners, countless All-Americans, and I could go on and on. But this will always be my favorite memory with the man.

Let’s check in on Sand Mountain….

[Stephanie Suttles @StephSuttles]

Well played.

[Aaron Suttles @AaronSuttles]

A couple of things I keep noticing about the Milroe throw.

Isaiah Bond was on the inside of the defender when the ball was thrown

Jalen threw the ball abt 46 yards on a fairly tight rope (from the 36 to back corner of the EZ…prob farther if you factor in the horizontal diff)
