Man, the mental gymnastics you do to pretend a decades-long trafficking operation had no clients but one man is exhausting. At this point, you're just running cover for a trafficking network under the guise of pedantry. I'm not here to argue with someone that eager to miss the point. Enjoy debating yourself.
You're pretending I'm mad over a fantasy when I'm asking a basic question: Why was someone convicted of trafficking minors, but no buyers were ever publicly named or charged? That’s not a figment. That’s the literal outcome of the trial. If there wasn't a list, that’s a failure. If there was a list and it’s hidden, that’s a cover-up. Either way, the public deserves answers. Spare me the smug condescension and bad-faith strawman crap. I’m not here to coddle apologists or argue with someone who’s clearly more interested in deflection than accountability.
Yes, I'm familiar with the presumption of innocence. I'm also familiar with the concept of evidence suppression, selective prosecution, and public accountability in cases involving systemic abuse. When a sex trafficking ring operates for decades, it's not unreasonable to expect the full extent - including enablers and potential "clients" - be investigated transparently. If the DOJ can't even get to that point, people are right to ask why.
No, I'm not assuming there's evidence of a list. But I AM assuming there's a list of evidence. Big difference here. If there's not, then the government didn't do their due diligence investigating this massive sex trafficking ring and gathering the evidence needed to find the people involved.
@TmthyPatrick@Acyn No, I want them to release the names of the adults who allegedly were involved with these crimes. That’s what justice and transparency demand, especially when the public was told this was a massive trafficking ring. Nice try, though. Take your hyperbolic bullshit elsewhere.
Get off the point of him making a physical list for one second. Why is the government so hell-bent on hiding the people responsible? What do they have to hide? I'm not saying that every single person he interacted with was someone he trafficked a child to, but we deserve to know the people who did engage in that behavior. Your government is lying to you. That's the root problem here, and you seem perfectly okay with that.
