You never see NBA media members mock a player to Memphis until that player starts playing poorly, or until Memphis has a good asset that they'd rather a more mainstream team have. This falls under both criteria. 😂

@tykinggg @cyndatu155 Scoring an efficient 17 a game with fairly close to a double double is nothing to sneeze at. He had a rough series, no doubt about it, but I think it's gonna to lead him to becoming pretty underrated with how he's viewed. Still don't want to trade for him, but I think he's solid.

@cyndatu155 You could make the argument for sure! I prefer J Dub, but you're not wrong about the injuries this year. If that's a consistent thing going forward that could drop him. If I have a chance to pick top 3, though, I have hope the guy can be a #1 option, is why I prefer not to trade.

@cyndatu155 Chet is really solid. I think part of what helps him excel is being able to be the 3rd best player on his team, in OKC. This series he struggle which was out of the norm for him, but it was when they needed him to be Robin. What worries me is in Memphis he'd have to be THE guy.

@cyndatu155 Thing for me is the Grizzlies already have a lot of draft capital, and at this point quality > quantity, imo. And that top 3 pick could potentially become their main building block piece, and I don't see Chet as a franchise cornerstone guy, even if he does have big 2 way impact.

This was a great block by Kornet and absolutely stopped OKC from taking the momentum.

However... The play itself happened because he got dawged and didn't properly seal Hartenstein on the entry pass, imo. 🤐
