@logopatt Care to offer another option? I supported Tre but it didn't work. I support this attempt. It may not work, it may work. We will just have to wait and see
@BarstoolBigCat@BarstoolChief Byram is a full on stud. Being behind Makar and Dahlin on both of his teams has sheltered him and he's still been amazing. Chicago has their #1 for the next 7 years.
@JoshWegman_ How they distribute the cash is going to be everything. They have to overhaul and they moved on from something that needed to be moved on from. Would I have wanted Woll over Stolarz? Yes. Reality is that they were probably getting nothing for Stolarz so they chose this route
@JDBunkis Will be comfortable letting him walk due to the depth they have at goalie right now, with a young promising prospect with the Marlies. Adding a 3rd with the cap space for the average and below average they moved out? Find it hard to view this as a bad deal for the Leafs.
@JDBunkis Woll has potential to really catch fire but he can't stay healthy. Benoit is quite weak and had a disastrous season, along with the rest of the blueline. Andrae is a better option and more the direction this team wants to head. Ersson is added depth if they choose to sign him but
@mirtle Nylander is weak right now but his 11mil Centre is as bad, probably worse. Horribly slow pace to 2 wingers who are fast paced and is virtually invisible on a nightly basis. You knew this plummet was going to happen in the 7 years and this is just the start I believe.
@MelnykMustGo @EMelnyk246@TSNSteveLloyd Signing is a lot different than getting traded. If Ottawa was willing to pay him the most then he probably felt it was where he made the most in the end compared to other offers. Getting traded to Nevada was like a bonus lol
@CMotaPyette@Sid_Seixeiro I agree. When you're seeing every quality depth forward get moved for late round picks I was simply just waiting for the guy the Leafs would add. Blackwell was a good add but my goodness one more depth winger to play over the likes of Clifford and Simmonds would've been big.
