Police have been ordered by the Government to launch an enquiry into alleged offensive comments made by some of the Lionesses, during the celebrations after retaining their European title.
In particular Chloe Kelly was heard to say “I am so proud to be English” Other members of the team were also heard to make similar comments of being “proud”
