Wildwood is truly the biggest middle finger to generative AI in history and the best animated film of the year.

Vandalizing wiki pages genuinely might be one of the most childish activities to ever exist

[Mark Searby @Mark_Searby]

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Bravo @LAIKAStudios

[Liz Slade @LFF @lizslayed]

Wildwood is one of the greatest animated movies ever made. It’s magical and stunning and heartfelt. The score is incredible and there were scenes that took my breath away. I was moved to tears with childlike wonder. Congrats to LAIKA. Human art is everything ❤️#LFF

[Chris Vasquez @3xChris]

Anyone who loves any type of art has to show up for this

[Sethy (Digger Pilled) @Brizksie]

GO WATCH AND SUPPORT ORIGINAL FILMS IN THEATERS

[Simon Thompson @ShowbizSimon]

LAIKA’s #Wildwood is a landmark moment in animation. Masterful artistry and flawless storytelling combine and manifest in lightning-in-a-bottle magic. The cinematography is so incredible, and so full of life, it moves like live-action rather the stop-motion. Breathtaking cinema.

[Christopher Rates It 🦦 @LuminousDagger]

Wildwood is a masterpiece and the pinnacle of stop-motion animation. Every second spent on the movie can be seen on the screen.

It’s a grand fantasy epic of the likes which we haven’t seen before in animation with an unbelievable battle sequence that rivals the likes of The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. I’m still unable to wrap my head around how they achieved a sequence of such magnitude.

It’s a culmination of everything Travis Knight and LAIKA have worked towards, with it also being a love letter to their home of Portland, Oregon. Peyton Elizabeth Lee and Jacob Tremblay have a relationship that slowly builds up to something that feels rewarding by the time credits roll.

LAIKA have outdone themselves with Wildwood delivering the best animated film of 2026 and one of the best this decade.

You fuckers deserve slop man. Forgotten Island, Digger and now Wildwood upcoming. Fuck all of you.

[Joshua Gould @voicearchivist]

Once again, if you want original movies, you need to show up to them.

[DrawingProductions @Drawing811]

I need everyone to see this:

PLEASE GO SEE WILDWOOD IN THEATERS WHEN IT RELEASES ON OCTOBER 23

We need this film to succeed because Laika is loosing money due to their box office bombs and to prove that animation is a medium of film and not a kids genre.

I can't stress enough how ridiculous it is that we're still getting creations like this, and how crucial it is that we help to keep them alive.
