@KevinP184 Noooo not at all, just an observation when he did press conferences. Don't make me think any less of the man.

[Steve Kay @SteveKayFT]

Rival fans hate Arteta more than the journalists who actually deal with him.

The press joke and laugh with him. Why? Because he's a nice guy.

We all know what the real issue is, you hate seeing Arsenal back where they belong.

I'm a massive Pep admirer but he was the most arrogant person in presser's I've ever seen, sometimes nasty. Arteta is never that.

[Steve Kay @SteveKayFT]

Attack Pep? Mate, I literally said I admire the man! 😂

Fans judge Arteta on things he says and the way he comes across, and that’s why he gets so much verbal abuse.

Pep can be arrogant in press conferences and come across as nasty at times. That doesn’t make him a bad person away from football, nor does it take away from the fact he’s a world class/ legend/ manager.

Therefore shouldn't be verbally abuse for what he says or acts in a emotional place like the touchline or in a press conference.

The problem is that too many modern-day football fans can’t seem to separate a manager’s public persona from the person he is away from the game. It really isn’t that difficult to understand! but unfortunately it's clear the modern day football fan can't 😕
