A 23-year-old woman in Milan had her face permanently slashed and disfigured by an Algerian Muslim migrant.

Their eyes met for a second and he screamed “What are you looking at? I’m a man and I’m Muslim!” before punching her and carving her face open with a blade.

This same piece of garbage had been arrested the night before for theft and smashing up parked cars. A judge let him walk free immediately.

Europe keeps importing these savages, then acts shocked when their women end up scarred for life in the streets.

His name is Jason Horne.

He was on Alvarado Lake celebrating the 4th with his 12-year-old daughter Emilie when people started screaming and waving them down.

A boat carrying NINE people had flipped and THREE children were trapped underneath it.

Jason immediately dove in to rescue them.

Under that boat, he found a little boy, he saved him, and then dove back in.

He felt a foot, it was a little girl and Jason tore her loose and brought her back, but she did not have a pulse.

He dragged her ON TOP OF THE CAPSIZED BOAT and performed CPR until she began breathing again.

He and others then flipped the boat and found a little boy with anchor rope WRAPPED AROUND HIS BODY.

The boy also did not have a pulse, he performed CPR on the boy until he got a pulse.

Astonishingly, ALL THREE KIDS SURVIVED!!!!

Every single one went home to their families.

His department said it best: "When others needed help most, Jason did what firefighters do. He stepped up without hesitation."

A 12-year-old girl sat in that boat and watched her father dive into a lake and come back up carrying other people's children.

She will spend the rest of her life knowing EXACTLY what a hero looks like.

He looks like her dad.

ALERT: Semi-truck loses concrete slabs it was hauling, sending them flying into pedestrians parked on the side of the road.

Tending to a broken-down vehicle on the side of the North-South Motorway in Australia, pedestrians luckily survived after 2 15 ton concrete slabs smashed into their vehicles.

One of the pedestrians was taken to the hospital with a suspected broken arm, and police say they are amazed everyone survived.

Heavy Vehicle Enforcement Unit officers examined the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.

ALERT: Hospital ran out of anti-venom trying to save a father of 3 who was bitten twice by a rattlesnake.

Christopher Howarth was visiting his parents in Oroville, California, and went into their backyard to check on a leaking pipe.

Howarth stepped on what he thought was a plant, but it turned out to be a deadly rattlesnake that bit him twice on the foot.

When his wife Jenny found him, his lungs had begun failing, his tongue was numb, and his lymph nodes had ballooned.

Suffering from a rare blood-clotting condition, the hospital used 54 vials of anti-venom by day 3 and ran out by day 5.

“I wasn’t sure if I was going to pull through. At one point, I wrote some letters to my kids to make sure they had one last letter from Dad.”

The Norcal hospital then transferred Howarth by helicopter to Stanford Hospital, and their anti-venom helped subdue his symptoms.

Thankfully, Howarth is now back at his Idaho home with his wife and 3 children after 12 grueling days in the hospital.

In the 16th century, a violent storm uprooted an English oak tree to reveal a freak geological anomaly: the only large-scale deposit of solid graphite ever found on Earth.

The deposit was located in Borrowdale, a valley in the Lake District. Locals quickly realized the dark substance left remarkably permanent marks, and its discovery completely transformed the way people wrote.

Before the Borrowdale storm, people wrote and drew with styluses made of literal lead or silver (a technique called silverpoint). These metal tools produced faint lines and required specially treated paper. The newly discovered Borrowdale substance, which locals mistook for a form of lead and dubbed "plumbago" (Latin for lead ore), was soft, smooth, and required no special surface. This mistaken identity is why the core of a pencil is still called "lead" today.

Because the Borrowdale graphite was incredibly pure and solid, it could be sawn directly into sticks. However, pure graphite is brittle and leaves a dark smear on anything it touches. To solve this, English makers began wrapping the raw sticks tightly in sheepskin or winding them with string. As the tip wore down, the user simply unwound a small section of the string to expose more graphite. Later, artisans realized they could protect the fragile core by hollowing out sticks of wood and gluing the graphite inside, creating the familiar wooden pencil.

When other graphite sources were discovered in Europe, they were full of impurities and crumbled easily. It wasn't until 1795, when the English Crown cut off the supply of Borrowdale graphite to France during the Napoleonic Wars, that a French officer named Nicolas-Jacques Conté found a workaround. He developed a method of grinding the inferior, crumbly graphite into a fine powder, mixing it with clay, and firing it in a kiln. This process allowed manufacturers to control the hardness and darkness of the core by altering the clay-to-graphite ratio, establishing the modern grading system from 9H to 9B.
