To mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, 2019 is the year 65 million British people will lose their freedom of movement. Let that sink in.
The people who chanted "EU scum, off our streets" at end of January have gone a bit quiet haven't they? Especially now they've clocked that so called low skilled migrants are keeping the country alive.
HO - Errr - I'll have to get you another number to call.
Life in the rewal world for @the3million
Any thoughts @ukhomeoffice @patel4witham? Is the advice offered Home Office policy?
My EU other half has lived here for 20 years, worked full time, full taxes, NI number, NHS number, two British kids,
lived at same address, worked for same High Street bank last 12 years. Denied settle status. They can't prove she's been here five years.
HO - Oh - errrr - they'll know from the stamps in your passport.
OH - They don't put stamps in your passport - when was the last time your travelled abroad?
@SteveLe_17 And the vast vast majority don't care, as a 'freedom' it means about as much to most people as the ability to enter the World snooker championship.
You're doing that classic solipsistic thing of projecting your narrow self interest onto other people 👍
Quitters moaning the Supreme Court are trying to frustrate Brexit, yet the government told us Parliament was suspended to prepare for a Queen's speech, nothing at all to do with Brexit. Or was someone lying? You can't have it both ways.
Dear @ukhomeoffice,
It's been 3 days now since Priti Patel's plan to abruptly end Freedom of Movement has been leaked. In the last two days we have raised major concerns, of which none were appropriately addressed in your latest 'factsheet'

Question regarding theft of FoM. If an EU national living here leaves the UK on business/holiday etc, what will happen at passport control when they return. Assume they don't have settle status yet. Does anyone genuinely know the answer to this - border/passport staff etc?
Hundreds of Hungarians marched through central Budapest in a "silly walks" parade on Monday, copying flamboyant moves from British comedy group Monty Python's famous television sketch to mark April Fools' Day.
Any MP advocating leaving without a deal should be removed from public life with immediate effect. It doesn't matter what their motivation is, whether they are one of the simpletons or whether they will personally benefit. Either which way, they are not serving their country
Theresa May's damaging deal has been overwhelming rejected twice. Her government is in chaos and she is trying to bully and blackmail MPs to vote for the same bad deal.
I am in Brussels today to meet EU leaders to discuss securing our alternative of a close economic relationship
Let's reflect on the PM's ominous words "this stage of the Brexit process"...
If you're sick of this endless Brexit chaos, remember this isn't the end.
It's just the pilot episode of a really bad drama. Let's cancel it now instead of wasting time on the box set.

@paulmasonnews If he was to become PM, he'd have to meet & deal with people way more neoliberal than Chuka. His actions are those of a petty little man. He's rarely looked less Prime Ministerial.
Sandy Hook happened 6 years ago and we can’t even get the Senate to hold a vote on universal background checks w/ #HR8.
Christchurch happened, and within days New Zealand acted to get weapons of war out of the consumer market.
