I received new insight today (revelation?):
All my life I’ve been an intellectual, arrogant and proud. I’ve had my brain wrapped around God as well as the next guy. But I didn’t fully know Him in my heart.
Now I have brain cancer. Literal brain damage, and I know God better than I ever have.
It’s like the Holy Spirit said, “Look, you don’t need this.”
He is referring to my brain, my arrogance, and my pride. All I need is my heart. It’s all He has ever asked for. ❤️✝️
