Look, man, I am just sincerely trying to understand what you mean, which is not clear to me, 🤷‍♂️ especially upon perusal of your timelines. As such, on my understanding of that, 🤔 the term "collectivism" for you is NOT restricted to describing governments of states or nations of a particular (hivemind) type and so CAN BE applied to, say, fan bases, which, indeed, tend to exemplify some of the worst – and most obvious – kind of mindless collectivist behavior. Am I getting you right?

If so, it must also be noted that the group is prioritized over the individual in, say, units like the family, especially the nuclear family, the activity of parenting or of playing team sports, indeed, in the concept of teamwork, and the virtue of self-sacrifice manifest in tragic events where one sacrifices oneself for the survival of others like, say, firefighters do all the time,... and much more. So, "burn" all that too, no?

Mind you, if the range of meaning of the word "collectivism" for you were restricted in the way I describe above, that is to say, to its COMMONPLACE meaning, we are on the same page, man,... might I even say same,... eh-hem,... team. 🤭 Also, although fans of, say, sports teams obviously exhibit some of the most flagrant "collectivism" (at least, on your all-encompassing definition), I can make a distinction between a measured, mindful fan and the run-of-the-mill mindless fan, but, then again, I do not share your sweeping definition of the term "collectivism". ANYway...
