It was the Kieckhefer MNFG co Illinois US it later changed to Tweeten but was still called green triangle

Since I started going to snooker with a mobile, I've been terrified of my phone going off inside the arena. I used to take the battery out when that was a thing, now check it about 52 times before a session to make sure it's on silent... I don't get why you wouldn't be like that?
99 years ago, the first world snooker championships were held at Camkin Rooms on John Bright Street.
I think this was where BrewDog is now.
Bill Camkin hosted the tournament & refereed the final.
In 1938, he became Director at Blues & steered us through the war years.
