@gavin_kelsey Been going on for years , even before my time as a manager , was happening when I played ( no mobiles then either ) . Waste of time these days with players signing for multiple teams. You just hope that you have players who are loyal , should only ever leave to play higher level

Clubs who throw money around , then have to cut it as realise it isn’t sustainable, soon have to deal with the consequences that there is no loyalty and players were only there for the money.
All that is wrong with Non League these days, money should not be the motivator

Now in terms of the game moving on , also 30 years ago I would never go to ground / dive to win a free kick / penalty , not sure what goes on today at the slightest of contact is game moving on
