The fall is behind us. Despite planning, the only certainty was the need to navigate unknowns. How did our testing protocols play out? Impressive, I'd say. Over half a million test later, and positives stayed low, even when managing the holidays.

The spring shutdown of campuses, while unprecedented, unplanned, and unanticipated - were actually very consistent. Looking ahead, with planning and anticipation in hand, I see great inconsistency in approaches. This coming experiment may be grander than the push to remote!

Urban universities have unique ability to capitalize on under-utilized hotels & facilities; expanded local dining options; collaborations with other schools/institutions; and benefit local community
