The son of the deceased veteran just posted this video on Facebook with the following message:

“RIP Alex Pretti,
he was my Dads ICU nurse, he read my dad’s final salute at the VA after he passed away. Never wanted to share this video but his speech is very on point. Also my Fathers final words to me was continue to fight the good fight. He would be honored in Alex’ sacrifice, and ashamed of this current administration. Pray bold prayers. Ask for the Lord's favor and protection over Ukrainians. Plead with the Lord to transform the hearts of Russian authorities and soliders. May we truly be the hands and feet of Jesus in this world 🙏🌎

This is Serhii, a Ukrainian Christian who has been no stranger to loss, pain and suffering in Russia's war on Ukraine.

Even after losing his wife and one of his children in a Russian drone strike upon his apartment, and recently losing his new home to yet another drone attack, Serhii has never lost his faith in Christ.

Against every weapon the enemy has tried to form against him and his family, Serhii has defended his faith with the weapons of worship and praise to our God.

Serhii inspires us to truly live like Jesus, not seeking revenge on our enemies but praying for those who persecute us and surrendering our hurt and pain to God our Father, the one who fights for us; The One who is our righteous judge and defender.

We pray that Serhii's story touches the hearts of those who listen, and may his testimony move us to pray and intercede for Ukrainians like never before!

Our Father in Heaven sent down His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world.
Though we do not deserve such a love, such mercy and grace from our creator, He freely gave Himself for us.

We pray that every Ukrainian, every Russian, and every human being on this planet would come to know Christ our Lord. We pray that the weapons of warfare be surrendered for the weapons of praise and worship to our God.

In the Russian-occupied regions of Ukraine, Christians are being persecuted, Children are being trafficked into Russia, Churches are destroyed or barred from gathering, and Pastors have been hunted and killed. Even far from the frontlines, innocent civilians are dying day by day in their homes by drone and missle attacks 💔

What can we do as believers in helping our Ukrainian brothers and sisters? We can PRAY! We can SPEAK OUT and STAND on the WORD OF GOD in how we view this crisis! We can SHARE THE STORIES OF THE PERSECUTED and ADVOCATE for the NEEDY! God has equipped us with the resources and abilities to help carry out His will on Earth as it is in Heaven, it just takes us stepping out in obedience and faith! Hallelujah!

Today we bring awareness to Alena, one of the innocent Ukrainian children that Russia is openly trafficking ⚠️💔

Did you know that Russia was recently exposed for creating an online 'marketplace' of stolen Ukrainian children, based on attributes such as their age, physical features, personalities, and levels of 'obedience'? The online catalogue and database (before being taken down) included 294 stolen Ukrainian children who Russian authorities labeled simply as "Ukrainian Orphans." In the description of Ukrainian 16 year old Alena for example, the Russian authorities shockingly state that "her physical development corresponds to her age," and that "her self-care skills are at a sufficient level." This is absolutely gut-wrenching. We are heartbroken for these innocent Ukrainain children who have been stolen from their homes, and are now being treated as commodities for the taking.

Yet, we believe in the power of prayer and the Lord our God, and ask that our fellow believers help to stand in the gap for God's children! Please plead in prayer for the return of Ukraine's children who have been forcibly abducted and deported into Russia, and use your voice to spread the word about what is happening to these kids! Share this post with fellow prayer warriors and believers, spark up a conversation with your pastors and church members, and write to your representatives (you can use our pre-written letter to petition lawmakers on our website, https://t.co/XD7aSB1nuE under the "how to help" tab).
