Across New York State, EMS systems are stretched to the limit. Rising costs, staff shortages and a lack of information on coverage levels are putting lives at risk. That's why 214 mayors and local officials so far have signed a joint letter urging @GovKathyHochul to approve three critical EMS bills into law.
A.2177-A (Lupardo) / S.1515 (May) – Exclusion of EMS Costs from the Property Tax Cap
A.8086-A (Otis) / S.7501-A (Mayer) – Statewide EMS Assessment & Plan
A.34 (Eachus) / S.31 (Comrie) – Thruway Toll Exemption for Fire and EMS
