The Dead Shakers : Now that’s what I call missiles & bombz for kids ! - The best way to describe it is folk my bloody valentine. It’s so super psychedelic it makes your brain swim and it’s a great feeling.

The Go Betweens : Before Hollywood - All their early albums are filled with complicated pop masterpieces. You’re getting 2 incredible song writers with 2 different personalities. You can’t beat the beautiful flow of the albums.

Oral Habit : A broken Chord - Fast tempo changes with Punk pop prowling. This album never gets dull it touches on a variety of familiar sounds. First full length from this UK band.

DYGL : Who’s in the House : Japanese band that have an Eddy Current vibe. They are incredible musicians with powerful songs. Jangly Punk fresh for the car.

Party Dozen : Crime in Australia - Saxophone and Drums sounding full with some instrumental songs and some minimal vocals on others. You kind of crank it right off the bat. The album is definitely a OMG find. Get on the hunt.

The Three Johns : Atom Drum Bop - Way ahead of its time. If you have never heard of or give this a chance you are missing out. Soon to become your new favourite album.

Coffin Pricks : Semi Perfect Crimes : Punk and Pop blended so perfectly it’s Sick. The Vocals are better than expected. A short lived band but what’s left is pure punk gold.

D+ - What is doubt for ? : A supergroup to me that has great chemistry. It’s Lo -Fi in the best way possible laid back. Some loud some quiet folk. It’s all good. Investigation is warranted. 🔥

Solid Space - Space Museum. : Released in “82 two young English artists in a shed. Space is the theme and it adds to the atmosphere of these perfect familiar funky songs. Doctor Who !

Band of Susans - Love Agenda : Other BOS albums don’t pack the same punch. Here they have it all going on with a number of super repeatable songs. This album needs your attention for the summer.

Killing Joke : Laugh ? I nearly bought one - An incredible introduction to KJ. I really like the Jaz ability to be soft and then unleash this devilish voice. Truly amazing !

The Horrors - Strange House : Goth organ jammers. Really wish they would have come up with more of this. Creepy rock that gets you moving.

Eleventh Dream Day - Beet : There are so many classic songs on this album. Right off the bat it just plan rocks. I think this album needs a little more recognition. Take the time to look it over definitely worth the listen.

Section 25 - Always Now : Early album sounds like Wire and Joy Division. Later albums they abandon this sound altogether ? Still playing actual instruments and Martin Hannett produced this is the best version of this band.

The Go-Betweens : Before Hollywood - Still a 3 piece and it is pop perfection with its clean and simple approach. Album has a charm that makes notice their incredible ability to connect with the listener.

A House : On our big fat merry go round : Dublin band that peaked on their first album. Incredible amount of great songs. Jangly rock that perfectly fitted into 1998.
