I’m understanding what he’s saying just fine. What I’m saying the outrage is misplaced. The whole thing has been flawed off the rip. We should be outraged that people are retaining points to begin with. These aren’t the best players of this ladder season, they are the best players of last season. The fact of the matter is if you have 10k snap points and lose 1k on the ladder “reset” and you enter at 9k you can never play 1 game the whole ladder season and you will still be top 100 or so based on those points. How and why should you be ranked so high if you didn’t even play a game the whole season. That is why you can’t take the ladder seriously. That is why the ladder is broken. There can’t be any carry over from last season. Can you imagine in the nfl if teams started the next season with some of their record from the previous season? Sounds like a great idea right? lol. What’s happening here is the same thing. It needs to be everyone starts the season at zero or it’s a broken system. There is no other way to truly determine the best players of the season.

But that is in fact the point. There should be no retaining any points. That’s not a season only ladder. If you were high last season you will start high the next season and that’s not a ladder reset there is still rollover. The only way to get a true rank for how everyone did for that season is to have everyone get reset to zero and only have ranking from the current month. Losing some points does nothing but keep the people who have time to play more high from season to season. What if someone misses a month? Does that make them a worse player than they were the month before? Of course not but they will be in an unrecoverable hole as far as the ladder is concerned because it doesn’t actually get reset. As far as what I said how does mmr matter? Would there not be a “perfect” amount of snap points you could gain by 8 cubing every game with no losses to hit 100? That is the max points you could ever gain after reset. Yes if you’re being reset from where you ended the last season at then it would make sense people coming in higher because they were higher to end. But that is the whole problem with the ladder. It’s not a true ladder, it doesn’t reset. The problem that you are talking about would also be solved if there was just nothing carried over to the next season.

Just a reminder of what you're playing for. The top 4 players from each monthly event will earn their spot in the Grand Finale and battle for their share of Marvel SNAPS biggest Prize ever $10,000 min guaranteed!
In addition to the top 8 points earners from the leader board, there will be 1 more invite given out to the leader board. This invite will go to the player, that does not already have an invite, who has played the most rounds across the whole season of tournaments. Top 4 rounds are excluded from this calculation. In the event of a tie for this spot there will be tie breakers to determine who receives the invite.

So remember, even if you think you won't make the top 4 or have no chance to make it, there are other ways to get in to the Grand Finale and every round counts. Do your best, play every round that you can, and don't drop if you can't make the top cut.

I just went through this when sending out the battle passes we gave away. It appears to be tied to the account you had to confirm to send them the pass. It’s set up to be like you ordered it yourself through the site just not through the game interface. I don’t think it’s intended to be gifting things to people the way we do it lol. But when I confirm my id it only shows what my account has spent money on, not what I spent “while confirmed as someone else’s account”
