This viral Minnesota GOTV ad has ties to fraud in Maine. The guy in the white jacket is Abdifatah Afrah, the cousin of Gateway Community Services CEO Abdullahi Ali.
Afra was the chief of the Lewiston office before Ali fled for Kenya amid credible allegations of fraud (first reported by @TheMaineWire).
Afrah ran his own businesses with the sketchiest websites imaginable, listing his offices as Gateway’s offices. The Democrat governor suspended payments to Gateway last year and they lost their license. No indictments.
Hussein Hirsi Ahmed, the finance minister of Jubbaland, Somalia, from 2021-2023, is rallying Somalis to vote in Lewiston, Maine.
Just a few days ago he was meeting with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Hannah Pingree (daughter to MECD1 Rep. Chellie Pingree). He has multiple money transmitter licenses on Lisbon St and just happens to rent to a bunch of Medicaid home health care agencies.
Here’s a pic of him Rep. Ilhan Omar while he was a Somali MP, and a few more of him ministering…
@comediacity Ahmed is a naturalized U.S. citizen, as best we can tell. But if he’s operating at the behest of foreign interests, then technically he would be required to register as a foreign agent under FARA.
Here’s Somali finance minister and MP Hussein Hirsi Ahmed, fresh off a meeting with Democrat Hannah Pingree, imploring Somalis to go vote.
Days later, busses start dropping illiterate Somalis and “translators” off at the polls in Lewiston.
In 2024, the ME-CD2 margin was less than 2,500 votes. This is a potential D => R flip that could determine who controls the U.S. House, and the results could be settled by buses of illiterate Somalis.

Here’s Hannah Pingree, likely the next Democrat Governor of Maine, meeting with the Somali NGOs of Maine.
You can see Jubbaland Finance Minister Hussein Hirsi Ahmed in multiple photos with her.
She probably didn’t know this, but she’s hanging with the Ogaden clan, the largest of the Darod clans. This is politically divisive shit for Somalis, but probably a safe bet for a Democrat.

Abdifatah Afrah has a really fun website for his fake translation business.
Looks like his working for the Minnesota Democratic Party now that his cousin Abdullahi Ali was run out of Maine for fraud.

🚨🚨WOW: Lewiston Mayor Carl Sheline reacts to the documented cases of electioneering by Somali translators by issuing notices limiting photography and video recording...
Outrageous.
The *city clerk* did not ask anyone to leave the polling place.
It was an *election warden* who asked a translator to leave the immediate voting area because they attempted to volunteer their services to a voter -- which is illegal. The Lewiston City Clerk just clarified to @MaineWireJon during the @TheMaineWire live show. The person was not ejected, but they were asked to leave.
Today, again, there were more issues with "interpreters" not knowing the rules, violating the rules, and having to be reminded to enforce the rules. That's part of the reason the clerk is circulating a print out of the rules. The Somali interpreters either don't know the rules or are flouting them.
So an interpreter was asked to leave the voting area for violating the law around translators. Under Maine law, the translators cannot volunteer their services. Voters *must ask* for translation services. Volunteering to help someone with their ballot is illegal. Notably, none of these "translators" work for the city, no one knows who they are, none of them are required to undergo certification or ethics training. We still can't figure out who any of these people are -- whether they are citizens even!
City Council candidate Bret Martel says he's observed dozens of cases where "translators" appeared to be volunteering and escorting Somali voters. More tellingly, he witnessed multiple cases of "interpreters" who somehow managed to translate ballots without speaking. Total silence -- only pointing. In once instance, Martel said he saw a "translator" needed another "translator" to translate English language instructions from the clerk about how to not break the law.
So far, it appears nothing will be done to intervene in Lewiston. Early voting has been open since Oct. 13 and will continue until Election Day. Maine also has same day registration, and many of the people who need the "translators" are also apparently voting for the first time, because the "translators" are often bringing voters to register first same-day registration
I’m deleting a post because the Lewiston clerk says she did not ask the two translators to leave the polling area.
The clerk *is* passing out a new list of rules instructing “translators” what the rules and limits of an interpreter are.
These have not previously been disseminated at the polls, and there appears to be significant… confusion as to what a translator is allowed to do.

Lewiston business owner shares security camera footage of multiple gunfights happening outside her business.
She added the following caption:
"THIS is what owning a business with over 70 years of history in Lewiston sounds like.
We aren’t just talking about isolated shootings anymore. We’re talking about GUNFIGHTS in our community!
At Armand’s Auto Body, we’re about ready to start offering a “Bullet Hole Special.” And while I say that with a little sarcasm, there is absolutely NOTHING funny about what is happening in our city.
Enough is enough."
