@pickover 1. Re3. Forces the knight to move to one of six squares next turn.

1… Ng3 or Nf4 or Nc3 are immediate captures.

1… Nc1 is met by 2. Rc3 forking king and rook.

1… Ng1 keeps the knight but 2. Rc3 leads to mate.

1… Nd4 2.Rc3+ and when the king moves away 3.Kd4 captures.

Hey #WordPress. Struggling with something. If blocks are required to be in plugins, why should we register patterns (that require those blocks) back in the theme?

Wouldn't it make more sense if the patterns and the blocks were registered in the same place?

Indeed, it might not immediately make the site faster, but there are performance gains elsewhere and it makes a difference in terms of the site size if you have portability concerns.
