New condo sales in Metro Vancouver are tracking even lower than last year, like 50% lower. The pre-sale condo market is completely dead.

Pretty much what you’d expect here.

This is a draft map, but it shows who voted where for Mayor of the City of Vancouver in 2026.

A final map will be issued later, but the patterns will likely be the same

Residential mortgage credit growth remains anemic in Canada. Falling home prices and a stagnant economy means little demand for new mortgages.

@Lejlo1980 @iamkennethchan @PtFry @seanorr I’m not a developer, no.

Ok 24 units on a 7000sqft lot is bananas.

[Kenneth Chan @iamkennethchan]

This is Vancouver's very first proposal to build a low-rise, multi-unit residential building on a small single-family lot under the new single-staircase building rules.

A 6-storey, wood-frame building with 24 family-sized units. #vanre #vanpoli

In 2 weeks (and it will be 7 months late), Canada will release their budget. And it will likely show a balanced (OPERATING) budget.

The MSM, and propaganda machines will gaslight you into believing the magic.

Here's National Bank's accounting for the magic.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 👏 @LenaMetlegeDiab you have undone all our years of effort to restore integrity under Express Entry system.

[Steve Saretsky @SteveSaretsky]

Maybe we aren’t doomed after all 😂
@PtFry

[Steve Saretsky @SteveSaretsky]

@DYLAN_NFL @ronmortgageguy @wealthy_barber Many things to consider. The 3 year rate should be priced better than 5bps though.

Quite the headline.

One issue we dug into on our Global BC municipal election night panel was how much Bill 44 drove the anti-incumbency vote. Plenty of factors shaped each community, but I expect significant pushback on Bill 44 no matter who wins provincially on Saturday. #bcpoli #vanpoli

Here’s the newly elected COPE party yelling about the “cruel austerity of capitalism”

“We didn’t start this class war but we’re going to own it.”

Sir, you’re a city councillor.

Pave the roads, pick up the trash and maintain the community centers.

It’s a sad day when city officials turn this into a platform to spew woke ideologies instead of focusing on delivering core services for the community.

[Paul Ratchford @P_Ratchford]

Vancouver just elected COPE’s Solomon Yi-Kieran, who decries the “cruel austerity of capitalism” and yells “we didn’t start this class war but we’re going to own it.”

Voters, is this what you signed up for?

[Steve Saretsky @SteveSaretsky]

Tough day for Eby. The entire media has turned against him

@michellesplant Shouldn’t you be on blue sky shouting into the void 😂

The self-proclaimed communist just got the most votes of any Vancouver city councillor, and that just about sums up this election.

Thanks for playing, comrades.
