A Police team intercepted a Public Passenger bus that was seen driving recklessly along the Half Way Tree Road in St. Andrew on Wednesday, October 19 and arrested the driver.
The driving is facing a litany of charges after another Police officer video recorded the infractions.
And this is why I think the 'ban' should have extended beyond songs to also include g ads and other broadcasts that glamourise violence and criminality.
A thread: I think the real point of the Broadcasting Commission's so called 'ban' on music which glorifies scamming and violence, was to establish a particular standard in national broadcasting. Some people missed that point.
So while many of us lazily yield to immediate gratificación, some of us have standards. And for broadcaster who have no standards the BC exists to regulate those standards.
