There are pot holes on Deerfoot that will pop tires if hit properly and those alone could cause serious incidents. It's a general concern in this city. My kid just had a tire pop on a 60 road hitting a pot hole.

@RCMPAlberta Just gonna say I'm not sure how these things happen on a straight hiway but someone better get a handle on these trucker accidents! In the US most trucks are not allowed in the right lane and have a 5-10MPH slower speed limit then passenger vehicles. Hwy 2 also needs more lanes.

@CalgaryPolice Interestingly enough my kid made mention of security being terrible at Stampede and anyone could get in with a knife or worse! These seem pretty random to me. Stampede only cares about the cash grab not the public! Never happened when criminals had consequences! Thanks Liberals.

@CalgaryPolice I hope the young lady pulls through. It is sickening when others are involved for mistakes of individuals. If this was the case. Was it speed, road condition, distracted driving? Stoney should be 8 lanes. Separated by concrete down the middle. We need better designed roads!

@CalgaryPolice 1st one single vehicle tragedy for a young person. Not saying this is the cause but kids put your damn phones away! Could be road conditions popping tires. See how bad some holes are on Deerfoot. Disgusting these roads are not repaired with what we pay in taxes and lives.

@CalgaryPolice Lots of speeders! Not just Stoney. Part of the issue is people not knowing how to drive in the lane they should be in. The amount of yellow and red lights been ran is off the charts. I have seen new Canadians make their own rules when driving. Not sure how some get a license.
