@JohnPetkovski I do understand the penalty. I’m not disagreeing with that. I’m trying to add context to the situation. Education for stewards on how to pick these machines up. Bezz was concerned about over revving of the engine and wanted to kill the engine.

@JohnPetkovski @AllMotorsport46 Yeah, you’re right, probably was. The 2nd one is likely “are you stupid, revving it”. This is likely straight after Bezz killed the bike. High tension situation. Trying to see if from Bezz’s POV. He knows the bike and what to do. Stewards don’t.

@Sofrmls 1. I know this. My dad has been a marshal. However, was taught correctly how to pick a bike up after it’s crashed. (From the side).
2. I agree, however, he’s protecting his bike, over revving causes engine damage. He needs to cut the engine.

@7DaniGomez @68Pecco Never said it was justified. This particular steward doesn’t know what they doing with these bikes. As much as they are meant to clear the track the other stewards try to pick it up from the side, the correct way.

@carlostransalp @gasa2mani The rider knows how to kill the bike. If you watch every rider after they crash, they pick it up from the side. The steward shouldn’t have been slapped, but need to be educated. These are nearly a million pound machine.
