Dev Notes: Sprites Break

We decided to take a break from web development and wanted to try our hands at sprites. We touched on sprites before and hit a wall, and well, now same thing!

We then had an idea to try to make our own sprite. After watching videos and playing around in Aseprite, we figured we just weren't at a level of understanding this. Doing vector art was one thing. Doing pixel art was just something else. 😆

Dev Notes: Mockups Continue

Our journey continues with more mockups! We aren't artists, so this has been difficult. We are also not sure how we want the forums to look like. Due to the nature of HTML/CSS, we expect things to break when launched. XD

We have finally resumed working on the website's mockups. It was a rough start because we realized that we have been at this for so long that the framework we are using is probably outdated. It was very much so!

We still aren't completely sure how to handle them. Some of our techniques worked on some objects and not others for some reason. Despite all the troubles and after about 3 months (lol) we were able to make a finished product today. We think we did a good job! :)

Dev Notes: Creating Avatars

We wanted to make some basic avatars that members could choose from. Problem was that none of us were artists. To practice and learn to draw on paper would take too long.

Recently we learned that some of our problems weren't really problems we created, but were anti-aliasing issues. We learned that saving a certain way would not display the issues. Our other problems dealt with fills and strokes.
