In between editing, I've been working on illustrations for my MG sci-fi adventure. I'm loving the splash pages for every new world the story visits!

Wouldn't this be neat to see in print some day? 😍🚀✨

Not a bad way to procrastinate when I should be querying, right? 🙃

Today, when introducing WWI, a student raised her hand and brought up the death of a certain archduke. Nobody knew his name, so as a hint, I offered that he shares his name with a band.

Gentle reader, my students asked if there had perhaps been an Archduke Metallica.

[Alicia Quik 📖🖋 @Stiksma]

@hypochic If you state both at the same time I think you’ve reached a peak

[Alicia Quik 📖🖋 @Stiksma]

@Bylrweltmann Oh I definitely do the broad search and spend way too many hours going through agent pages! #amquerying sucks 😂
