When we graduated, we were earning about the same amount of salary.
She could buy herself basic things, & never begged me for money.

Bright, broke and burning with ambition.
I was that poor kid who always topped the class, straight As, first position from primary through secondary. Got into university and came second-best in my entire college first semester. I got introduced to crypto by a coursemate and instantly knew it was the future. But I needed capital, fast. So I turned to sports betting.
I started spending more time in betting shops than in lecture halls or at school, even taking up Bet9ja and winnersgoldenbet sales boy gigs for a couple years because I was always in there. Obsessed and focused. Missed so much of tests and lectures and only studied for exams on deadlines.
Despite it all, I still graduated with a second class upper. I had to. Education gave me structure but the streets taught me strategy. Graduated broke too because betting wins were only going straight back to school and feeding and surviving.
After school, I went all in, sports betting and crypto investing. The 100 naira to 1M wins came in a lot and I always invested back into crypto, into BTC, BNB and ETH, Got really good at both, studied odds, studied charts.
Learned from losses. Doubled down on wins, because obsessed with investing.
Today, I’m a millionaire because of that pivot and I’m invested into a lot of things, a serial entrepreneur I’d say. From the first position in class to first hand experience with risk, conviction and calculated hustle.
God has been good. And that’s my life in a nutshell. Education is very important, it helped me a great deal to be the best at what I do.
