They do NOT guarantee a single affordable house for anyone.

Here's a question. Construction wages have been flat for 20+ years, and home prices have gone through the roof. Somebody's pocketing that cash, and it isn't the guy framing the house.

It's the developer.

I debated every one of these bills and voted no on all of them. We killed a few. A few still got through, and the Legislature is signaling it wants more.

I'll keep fighting them. This is the kind of thing that destroyed California and every other high-density hellscape.
