Restore Britain will stand in the Clacton by-election.

The second one, held later this year, when the investigations into Farage’s finances conclude as we all suspect they will.

We are not going to participate in a Reform-sponsored media circus over the summer months that is designed to puff up Farage’s ego and deflect away from wholly fair questions over why he has concealed such vast and irregular financial donations.

Farage can play with his toys for the next six weeks, but Restore Britain is going to continue producing detailed policy papers, exactly as we have been, outlining how we can fix our country.

That is what I am interested in.

A LOT.

In 25/26, the Reform council spent £401,356 on 'interpretation and translation expenditure'.

That's up from £260,618 spent in 21/22.

Not only that, but £194,597 spent through the delivery of the Refugee Resettlement Commitment.

The top ten most-translated languages in 25/26 by the Reform council were as follows:

Punjabi

Kurdish / Kurdish Sorani
Romanian
Somali
Bengali

There is no legal obligation to do any of this.

A Written Ministerial Statement to Parliament stated the following about the Equalities Act...

'this is not a legal duty to translate documents into foreign languages.'

A Restore Britain Government would scrap ALL foreign language translation/interpretation.
