It was a disappointing end for us hoping to qualify for the last 8. NK Dons proved a tough opponent to play against. The match was halted twice only 10 mins was plunged into darkness.
The quality of our young squad was such that we could breed a more attacking brand of football.
St John’s earned a point in a pulsating encounter against AFQO. A slow start from us. We would’ve felt we should’ve been ahead at the end with the chances we missed, but we almost found ourselves two down.
Memnos Costi stated we showed a lot of resilience, character & quality!
This one means business for @STJDFC - Made for the players on the rise ⚽ We embroidered their club badge & printed their sponsor. It's always a pleasure working with clubs & teams, especially those who support & encourage each other 👏

St John’s remarkable comeback thwarted by Hilltop’s last min winner! 6-5
Hilltop was the most difficult to play against. Tough, fast, & compact. But we showed great character & desire.
MoTM: @CaseyRylan Our young maestro was seemingly everywhere, terrorised Hilltop midfielders.
St John’s won the match 18-0 recording their biggest ever EDF semi-final win, & inflicting @CCDeafFC’s heaviest defeat.
Carlisle players tried to put a brave face on things. St John’s felt it was an education, not humiliation for them. Carlisle fought until the last whistle.

Saturday win a quarters, Sunday x2 goal and Man of the Match. Disappointed with the results last night with @ErithTown but pleased to be on scoresheet.
Good things will come.

St Johns DFC’s 3-0 away victory over @bristolcitydfc have secured a top spot in EDF South League with two games in hand.
St John’s are well known for their fluid passing football, but we were resilient with that scrappy grass pitch.
Man of the Match goes to Rylan Casey ⚽️⚽️
Man of the match goes to Matthew Oaten @_mattoaten He was the man to create havoc for Crown and Manor (Youth) last night. The deaf England international has been one of few St Johns players to have impressed consistently in recent months.
St John’s overcome dip in form with emphatic win 5-0 over Crown & Manor FC at IMFL Cup.
Despite having 30% of possession for the rest of the game.
The worrying signs were there for us when we started with 8 men. Fortunately 3 players have arrived late and made up the numbers.
St John’s were beaten 4-3 by Aloysius FC in pulsating match. 3 points were crucial to both sides’ hopes of finish above the relegation zone.
Darren Dunne was undoubtedly Man of the Match. He is often the most reliable figure on the field to composure his side when they need him.
Oliver Manoochehri’s hat-trick performance was no surprise in St John’s comeback win over Streatham Vale.
@_mattoaten & @Samarious4 linking as a winger was truly groundbreaking, as is both defenders being given carte blanche to advance attack
MoTM: Oliver Manoochehri ⚽️⚽️⚽️
@Cheekidaniel & Abdou Jobe put gloss on laboured St John’s win against @stalbanscitydfc
St John’s climbed back above @BarnetDFC after a nail-biting 2-0 win over St Albans DFC.
Strong & disciplined defence was a major a factor in St John’s clean sheet.
