The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
It is with sadness that, today, we say goodbye to our dear friend, Agnes Slocombe. We thank God for her life, inspiration and her determination to do all that is right, her love for God and her love for people.
Each of us will have a personal story to tell, a memory to cherish and a smile to spread - this tells us something of the lady that we have known. Our sadness turns to joy as we measure the impact that Agnes had in our lives and that of the local community.

@DavidPintoD She is an amazing lady. Last Friday was the 55th Anniversary of her arrival in Barnet. Her work on behalf of others is an example to us all
