Hello everyone! We are glad to finally be back after a long hiatus!! To recap, this account is run by one person, the founder (@caitlynawillson) so please bear with me as I catch up on DMs. In the mean time, how are you doing?
Be kind to yourself.
Give yourself the same grace you’d give to a close friend.
Forgive yourself like you’d forgive a family member.
Be patient with yourself like you would a small child.
Be gentle with yourself like you would an elderly person.
Be kind to yourself.

Self-care isn’t always glamorous and easy. Self-care can be:
•Setting boundaries
•Learning how to say “no”
•Being able to ask for help
•Removing toxic situations/people
•Forgiving yourself
•Teaching yourself healthy coping strategies
•Facing your traumas

Eating disorders are not a choice. Telling someone with an eating disorder to “just eat” or to “just stop eating” will not help them. They are much more complex than that. They are an addiction and a hell. Please understand this. End the stigma surrounding eating disorders.

There’s no shame in struggling
or in asking for help
or in taking medication
or in having a mental illness.
There’s only shame in making people feel bad or weak or embarrassed for struggling, asking for help, taking medication, or having a mental illness.
👐🏼❤️
We are bringing back Mental Health Mondays! Stay tuned for the first topic of discussion that will be posted across all of our social media platforms later today 👐🏼❤️
Please check on your family, friends and loved ones and always be kind to those around you.
There are so many people in the world who are silently suffering. One small act of kindness or one “hey, how are you doing?” could make all the difference to somebody else.

Mental illness can happen to ANYONE
It happens to men
It happens to women
It happens to friends and family
It happens to students and teachers
It happens to celebrities
It happens to the rich and the poor
It happens to those in our own communities
It does not discriminate 👐🏼❤️
If you’re struggling right now, know that it’s okay. If you’re struggling, it means you’re human. Keep pushing forward. This time of struggle won’t last forever.

It’s ok to not be ok
It’s ok to ask for help
It’s ok to take a break
It’s ok to not be perfect
It’s ok to see a counselor
It’s ok to prioritize yourself
It’s ok to not feel like you have it all together every single day
It’s ok to feel depressed or anxious

It may be hard now but you, I, we, will get through this. It’s ok to cry, to grieve, as that is part of loving someone. But also allow yourself to carry the treasures of memories and love with you as you live and love on.
@uzoart You ended your cooperation with an institution and its employees and offered programs that no longer suited you, your goals, your health, and your needs/wants. Bravo! I’m proud of you!
