In science, Year 6 investigated inherited traits. Their final challenge: combine two dog breeds and predict the traits their new pup would inherit. Let’s just say… the dogs were very interesting! 🐶🧬
Year 2 have been looking at the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Today we made posters to show how St Mark’s spreads the gifts of joy, peace and self-control.
Today, Year 1 took part in a taste test to decide which fruits and vegetables they’d like to use in the healthy smoothies they’ll be making next week! As you can see from some of our facial expressions, not every flavour was a hit! 🍓🥕🍌
Year 6 said goodbye to SATs in the only way possible… ripping up the booster papers and throwing them into the air!

Yesterday in Religious Education, Year 1 learned all about spreading the Good News, just as Jesus did. We talked about ways we can share the Good News in our own lives and created colourful posters to inspire others to spread the Good News too!

Year 6 had a go at playing the 1% Club this afternoon. The maths questions got harder and harder but they all persevered and conquered! Well done Year 6!
Year 6 explored online safety today. 💻 We discussed age restrictions, managing screen time, parental controls, and what a healthy balance looks like.

To celebrate St Mark’s Day Reception created lion masks to represent St Mark and we did some role play activities too! We finished the day with a special treat - an ice lolly outside!
For Saint Mark’s Day, KS2 moved to their house groups. Romero created their own gospels to share good news like Saint Mark, wrote positive affirmations for others, and designed posters on how to be bold like a lion 🦁
Year 2 have had a wonderful celebrating the feast day of St Mark. We have acted out stories from St Mark’s gospel such as the calming of the storm, created our own ‘Good News’ wall and collaged lions for our lion parade. 🦁
Today we have been very busy celebrating St Marks Day! We discussed St Mark and how special he was. We created our very own ‘Good News Wall’ to display and share any good news like he did. We also made our very own brave and proud lions and showed them off with a lion parade!
Today we celebrated Earth Day 🌳 🌍 We discussed what our favourite outdoor places are and why. We then created our own pledges on how we can look after our planet.
Year 6 delivered a powerful and moving assembly today, reenacting the story of The Passion of Christ. A thoughtful performance that showed great maturity, respect and understanding. Well done Year 6!
