Yesterday, Year 5 took part in a River Study at Clifton Country Park. Their fieldwork helped support their learning in Geography for their unit: Rivers.
Year 5 had a lovely morning in the sun!

Children from Y1 & 3 participated in the Primary Engineer competition, designing and building locomotives. Engineers from Morton’s judged them on build quality, straight-line travel, braking, and finish. They were also interviewed about their work. It was a fun experience for all

Year 2 enjoyed their reflective pilgrimage to the park, collecting litter and practicing kindness with “you first” actions. We prayed together and enjoyed the sounds of nature. Looking forward to our next walk, maybe with some singing! 🌳✨ #YearOfJubilee

Our children were very inspired by our recent visit from Ben, from @AVEVAGroup. They learnt about engineering and listened with interest to the work that Ben and other engineers carry out.

Our young chefs had an amazing time at @PizzaExpress! 🍕👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 They learned to make their own pizzas from scratch and enjoyed every moment. Such a fun and delicious experience!

After some pruning and drying out of our rosemary and lavender bushes we were finally ready to make our own scented bags using recycled materials.
