It's 8pm now...
Very hot cruise on the Seine #heatwave
Still 38 degrees at 5.30pm and no sign of cooling down!
Everyone say "rail replacement bus"! Moving again after first bus broke down at Scotch Corner!

Beautiful evening at Montmartre, students had some nice food (mostly pizza!) and watched France beat Belgium in the Euros!

Exciting (if tiring) first day; everyone safely in Paris, fed and off to bed ready for a full day of sightseeing tomorrow!
A trip to Phantasialand for our last full day in Germany.
Back in Aachen, we celebrated the trip with a mini awards ceremony in the park.
Another of today’s highlights - trying German specialities, including Currywurst and Haribo! 🍭
Another busy day today - the Drachenfels funicular railway, Drachenburg Castle, Bonn Old Town and the Haus der Geschichte.
A fun packed day in Cologne today. Lots of tasting in the Schokoladenmuseum followed by a river cruise, a trip to the Cathedral and time for a spot of shopping. Who knew Germany could be so warm?! ☀️
