Last week, St. Mary’s University Men’s Basketball teamed up with Eva’s Heroes for a great day in the gym. The heroes had the chance to work on basketball skills, play games, and spend time with our team. Smiles and high fives everywhere!

Birdville guard and St. Mary’s signee Avery Webb delivered a moment that will live in Texas high school playoff lore.
Webb broke his defender’s ankles with a step-back three and buried the game-winner, sending Birdville past Denton — a team they had lost to twice earlier this season — and punching their ticket to the UIL 5A State Final Four.
At a time when college athletics is growing more and more transient, St. Mary's is the exception. Bubba Meyer became just the fourth coach in 60 years when he took the reins for the Rattlers, stepping forward to carry his father Buddy's immense legacy. https://t.co/ziuFRdrQbg
