I am devastated to hear about Lance Reddick’s passing.

Lance was one of the rare standout talents I worked with and wanted to work with again and again. Later he was in the discussions of being one of the leads in my next film planned. My favorite. Miss you dude.

He was definitely the sincerest and kindest dude there while being particularly thorough about hus job. He’d usually start the day with ”I’m confused about this line”.

Each day ended with a very high five and an irrational sight of two big grown guys hugging at each other.

Lance was a great actor and human rights defender, but I miss some other things about him the most.

He’d show up every day with a huge smile on his face and we had fun talking about politics and naturally basketball as we were the only two big guys on set.

I remember telling Pekka Markkanen(Lauri’s dad) in our locker room that the kid will never be a player. He���s too small… Lauri was 2 years old I guess at the time… Now the little dude is an All Star. 💙🤍 Markkanen.

Imaginaerum by Nightwish premiere was exactly 10 years ago. James Halpern, a fan of @NightwishBand , a Hollywood producer and a friend wrote a breathtaking story on how he followed the band and its movie to Finland.

The tumor removal surgery went well without any surprises. I’m recovering well and should be up and about soon. It will take a few weeks to know what the findings are regarding the tumor and lymph node that will be tested.

I’ll keep you posted.
