Through the application of psychology we aim to support the inclusion, progress, development and wellbeing of children and young people across our city.
Let's talk about EBSNA. Yesterday 2 of our Assistant EPs delivered training on EBSNA.
Thinking about the emotions and experiences that may be contributing to school anxiety and finding ways to strengthen the protective factors were both popular activities. #twittereps

Today is the start of #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek, and we want these messages to be seen by as many young people as possible. We asked our online community what advice they'd give to their 10-year-old self. These are their answers.
It’s Children’s Mental Health Week and it’s so important for us to encourage our children to share their thoughts and feelings about their mental health and to support one another.

In our recent training on 'Attachment, Trauma and Resilience' this patchwork quilt activity was thought-provoking and insightful for the staff taking part and prompted lots of discussion about the possible implications of early disruptive relationships.
Thank you @dr_treisman
Ideal classrooms made from Lego!
Some of our assistant EPs have been working with pupils to find out what they would include in their ideal classrooms.
This is a fun, creative way to engage with pupils and discuss their views about school😊
