@Stagecoach_West is there any chance the talking buses on the 97 route can start talking again? The system has been turned off and as a visually impaired person it is very difficult to know when my stop is coming up. Accessible transport isn't accessible when it's turned off
@Stagecoach_West can you clarify the upcoming changes to the 97 and 98 routes due to the closure of Brookfield Rd in January for a year please. According to your website it seems my normal bus stop will now not go to Glos but now to Chelt due to the routing change
@DisabilityWales So may "disabled charities" that are getting it wrong. It's International Day of People with Disabilities, not International Day of disabled people. https://t.co/PQ1zIfYhDY
If you can't get that right then are you really there to help us or are you virtue signalling?
@InclusionLondon It's International Day of People with Disabilities, not International Day of Disabled People. If you can't even get that right, you not just as bad as the ableist idiots
Saying you want to be inclusive but not doing anything about it doesn’t Cut it. Disabled people need allies. We need to be listened to. Projects have to be designed inclusively from the start. Society needs to really start believing and acting on the social model of disability
Our new Accessible Information Standard campaign calls on the NHS to effectively implement the standard and engage with #VisuallyImpaired patients: https://t.co/BwmRUaBpwM 1/ #Thread
I find myself saying this a lot lately.
So for all developers and designers, design your technology with accessibility from the start.

@CNET Pineapple is fine on a pizza, my issue is how fresh would the ingredients be in the vending machine? If someone has to resupply or change out the fresh ingredients every day or so then I don't see it as a viable option. What about food wastage as well?
@Jerusalem_Post@KElharrar@LahavHarkov The organisation should hang their heads in shame. This is unacceptable and embarrassing. We need to be having accessibility reviews before events are planned and they need to be carried out by a team of people who have accessibility needs and lived experience.
Energy Minister Karin @KElharrar was taken to several entrances and was unable to get into the conference from any of them. After two hours of attempts, she left the conference.

Who does the accessibility reviews when these venues are chosen? Honestly think that one was not carried out. To keep a wheelchair user waiting outside for 2 hours as well is absolutely disgusting.
