OSOGBO, OSUN: Around 4pm today, October 2, the NBM (Aye) cult group carried out an att@ck in the Owo-Eba area, near Ilesha Garage, Osogbo, Osun State. A notorious Eiye (ACN) cultist and political thvg named Small Rugged (pictured) was k**led. Another Eiye cultist named Seyi Osha, was also k**led. A third Eiye cultist known as Mascot, who is a PA to Small Rugged, was hit and is in critical condition. A KK/Ave (CCI) cultist named Spirit was also hit and is in critical condition. Several others, including a non-cultist named Agba Kali, who had gone to play bet, a female worker, and a car wash attendant, were also hit, with reports of additional de@ths at the hospital. The att@ck was carried out by Aye in retaliation for previous k**lings of their members, including the July 15 k**ling of an Aye leader named Lekan, alias Leksy, in Egbatedo. Reports also linked the att@ck to anger over the September 13 k**ling of Emir Ajagungbade, an Aye leader. (Videos of the victims on Telegram)

Many Eiye cultists, including Small Rugged and his boys, had gathered in front of Peka’s Bar, where they had been drinking and socializing with a few friends who were not Eiye members. They had been there since around 9am before the Aye att@ckers arrived at about 4pm in two vehicles, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Sienna. One vehicle was used in the att@ck while the other waited at the junction. The att@ckers opened fir£, hitting several people, including Eiye members, a KK/Ave member, and non-cultists. Osha was k**led at the scene, while Small Rugged, who was the main target, fled but was pursued. After a long chase, he ran into a house, where he was caught and k**led, despite wearing his charms. Osha, who just had his marriage introduction last week Saturday with his pregnant wife, was a number 4 man in the Eiye cult, while Small Rugged, who we will focus more on, was a number 2 man.

Small Rugged was very popular in Osogbo, much like the late Emir, the notorious Aye leader. Just like Emir, Small Rugged was also an Accord Party political thvg and was among the cultists released from prison for the recently concluded elections. Since his release, he was involved in the k**ling of several Ayes, which led to retaliatory att@cks that k**led members of his own Eiye cult. He was also involved in att@cks against Ayes aligned with the rival APC political party. On July 16, Naija Confra mentioned Small Rugged in our report following his involvement in the July 15 k**ling of former Aye leader Lekan, alias Leksy, in the Egbatedo area of Osogbo. Leksy was an APC political thvg.

Naija Confra has long warned that after the Osun elections, criminals released from prison and armed by politicians for political purposes will cause more violence and unrest in the State, and we are beginning to see the consequences. Sadly, more people could d!£ in Osun unless the political leaders arming and supporting these criminal cultists take responsibility and act decisively to prevent further violence.

Gov. Adeleke’s Associate ‘Emir Ajagungbade’ Sh+t De@d In Ife amid park leadership tussle

Tension has gripped Osogbo, Osun State, following the k+lling of an aide and associate of Governor Ademola Adeleke, Dauda Oyeyemi, popularly known as Emir Ajagungbade.

Oyeyemi was sh+t de@d by unidentified gunmen on Sunday amid a dispute over the leadership of a motor park in the state.

According to reports, Oyeyemi had been seeking to take over the leadership of the park, currently headed by Wakili Nurudeen, popularly known as Alowonle, a development that reportedly sparked tension between the two groups.

Sources said Oyeyemi attended a meeting at Mayfair Motor Park with members of his group as part of efforts to resolve the dispute.

However, masked gunmen stormed the venue during the meeting and sh+t Oyeyemi in the head

An eyewitness said the incident triggered panic as members of both the Alowonle and Emir groups reportedly fled the scene.

The source added that a vehicle carrying some members of the Emir group was involved in an accident near Campus Gate while they were attempting to escape.

Following the incident, tension heightened at Oyeyemi’s base in the Asoje area of Osogbo, with his associates said to be agitated over his k+lling.

Meanwhile, Governor Adeleke’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, confirmed the incident and called for the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the k+lling.
