For a vast majority of casual gamers it is not.
We as a community are way to focused on finding and abusing any and all meta.
Content creators are at fault as well. Team Gullit weekly uploads of their latest abuses found. Most meta tactic etc.

Are the community equally responsible for the issues - also yes.

Noone forces people to play ultra meta, yet most people do. You are also responsible for your own enjoyment yourself. At least in my opinion.

@NepentheZ Iconic Excellence was extremely hard for me this time. Im a div4 rivals player, that does not play rivals that often, I started messaging my opponents. Most of them were div2 and elite.
Way above my level.
