The same can be said of Fast Food prices going through the roof! When these idiots raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour or more, expect to pay $15 or more for a hamburger, fries and a soda!
(Did your pay double too when these laws were implemented?)
@lippyent They were great! You just open the front of the box and you have a handy bowl to pour milk on top of the cereal. A great camping idea I learned as a Cub Scout.
It's not even Halloween yet and I'm getting Christmas ads!!! πππ€¨π‘ The last one was Trump Elf on a Shelf ad... boring! Here's a little funnier Ad that I made up with Grok.
I really find the term, Generation Jones, irrelevant. NASA and the US Government is saying today's youth are the Artemis Generation. I propose that people who were born between 1958-1978 are the Apollo Generation. Spaceflight is the ultimate achievement for humanity and I prefer being called the Apollo Generation than Boomer and GenX.
Itβs 1981, and you play this game for the first timeβ¦ and your mind melts. Early-80s arcade games were so far ahead of home computer gaming that itβs hard to put the gap into perspective today.
Tempest stood out because it felt like nothing else on the floor: a super-fast, almost hypnotic tube shooter built on color vector hardware and a physical spinner. Pretty much everything about it was unique.
Atari designer Dave Theurer (who also created Missile Command) started from an idea for a first-person Space Invaders, which ultimately became Tempest.
It generated roughly US$150 million in its first year from cabinet sales and coin take, making it a massive commercial hit for Atari.
How much pain did her victim feel when she beat her over the head with chunks of asphalt and butchered her with a meat cleaver? For that matter, how much pain did her second victim feel when Pike tried to strangle her to death in prison?
