We have stayed on this platform until now in the hope that putting something positive into an increasingly negative space would do some good, but the latest news about Grok means that we cannot stay with integrity, and so we will be closing this account.
Our minister is enjoying a post-Christmas break, so we are joined by good friend Martin Gage, who will be leading us in worship. Come and start the year in good company from 10:30.
We will be seeing out the year with Croissants and Carols. Join us from 10:30 this morning for pastries and drinks, time to chat or reflect at the turning of the year, and the chance to choose a favourite carol to sing.
Did you know that today is just the first day of Christmas? If you would like to extend your celebrations all the way to Twelfth Night, you will find some reflections to accompany them here:

Christ is born.
He is born today.
Hallelujah!
Some highlights from our Christmas morning service are now on the blog:

Happy Christmas everyone!
It's almost here!
Join us at 8:30 this evening for a candlelit communion to mark the coming of Christmas.
And come along at 10:00 tomorrow morning to celebrate the day itself with carols and some festive silliness.
Happy Christmas everyone!
Tomorrow is one of the highlights of our year, the selection box carol service, with contributions from members of the congregation. We'll have a pop up choir, poems, prayers, our youngest member's first sermon, and a new carol. Join us at half ten, with refreshments to follow.
It really is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
This Sunday 14 December we have carols on our very fine organ, then next Sunday 21 December we will enjoy a selection box of contributions from the congregation.
Everyone is welcome, so don't worry if church isn't usually your thing. If you simply love carols or are just curious about the Christmas story, we would love for you to come and join us.
