Cairns 9 - Blue Steel, 13 Under. Blue Steel resuming from injury, very well at home, hoping he gets around safely and hits the line. 950m way too short. 13 Under, superb 1st prep, draws 1 for Lacey, again short of his best but will be charging home late.

Cairns 8 - Buffet Buster. Model of consistency, total shit show at Laura in the Cup, since proven to be a good form race. Will be on speed, suited with the claim for a good kid, and should be fighting out the finish.

Cairns 3 - Fancy Garter. Gets her chance with Lacey up. Moral licked Townsville when run off the track late. Moral licked Cairns 3 back when found trouble in the lane. S Cormack shocker in between. Short enough, but will be in the finish.

Townsville 6 Willingale. Longest spell she's ever had. Working a treat, draws the outside 1st up in Qld but gets the services of LJM. Will improve off this outing but very capable. Could surprise!

Bathurst 7, Jamacri. Bargain basement purchase who savaged the line on Stonk debut at Wellington. Finds the right race here. Working the joint down at home. Gun kid up, no weight, hopefully climaxes over the top.

Good weekend for Stonk, 3 runners, 1-1-1. We head to Townsville tomorrow, R6 Fancy Garter. Talented mare, super first up over 950m on the slop. Gets to 1200m, Lacey up, drawn well. If she's close on the turn, whoosh.

Back racing again. Cairns 5, Thirteen Under. Airborne since arriving in NQ, slight step up in grade but never better at home. Gets the services of LJM and can win again.

Townsville 8, The Impeckable. Talented type who underachieved in NSW. First horse we've sent Dubbo to Cairns and he finds the right race 1st up. 1000m on the short side, but gate 2 and LJM, gets his chance.

Thursday, Caiirns 9, Thirteen Under. Freshened with the poor weather in NQ. Great win last start beating Rhegion, who destroyed them next start at Cluden. Wide gate holds no fears with gun hoop up. Looks immense, can win again.

Sunday, Dubbo 7, Wing Nut. Horror draw, hopefully slots in somewhere near midfield, or 3 deep trip with cover. Decent field. Won easily here last start, same grade. Claim for gun kid a plus. Gets luck in running, is in the finish.
