The EU (European Union) banned the use of crumb rubber tire infill in 2023 & the Netherlands have banned it & are currently replacing crumb rubber & artificial turf with natural grass.

Artificial turf is made up of several layers, including plastic grass blades & the infill is recycled ground up tires called “crumb rubber.”

"Crumb Rubber" contains 100s of harmful chemicals like lead, mercury & other heavy metals, benzene, arsenic, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), PFAS & phthalates.
