@MizzouEdBridge A9.1: I believe that it is the teachers job to make sure that all aspects of indigenous history are included and not just what is linked to white American history. I also think that some of the responsibility falls on state laws to make sure that this is included in classrooms.

@MizzouEdBridge A7. I believe that schools across America need to do a better job at speaking about indigenous history. From my experience, we stop learning about these cultures after 1900 and I believe that if we really want to learn about American history, then we need to include all cultures.

@MizzouEdBridge A5. Although I did learn about indigenous history in high school, there was very little talk about it. One of the only things I remembered coming into college was the Trail of Tears. #TeachingLIES
