@NoVATonschools I feel like I should thank the Labour council who told me there were no school places and placed my white, working class child at the bottom of the waiting list for at least 6 months they said. I am blessed the tiny private school was the only school in Oldham to have a place!

I have no objection to anyone being proud of their school. That's a healthy emotion.

What is not healthy is people in the top 10% income bracket claiming to have the disadvantages of the bottom 10%. That's deceptive to the point of being ludicrous.

Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.

One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??

The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.

Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!

@drifter104 @markstretch They should never tax education, not only have they caused a lot of damage, I’m encouraging my child to take his lifetime of taxes elsewhere seeing as his government made it clear they don’t work for him or care about him. You reap what you sow.
