On May 1st, Senior Sarah Finley was recognized by the Illinois Principals Association. A banquet was held at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree in Springfield, where she was recognized for her character, leadership, scholarship, and service.

Carson Blok and Jacob Atteberry were recognized on Friday, April 21 at Doherty’s in Decatur by the Macon County Regional High School Association. Jacob represents the senior class as this year’s Valedictorian and Carson is the Salutatorian.

Yesterday, Seniors Jasyn Wood and Seth Adams represented SVHS at a Student Recognition Banquet hosted by the Lincoln Prairie Conference. They were nominated by their teachers for recognition based on their achievement, scholarship, and character.
